The under 12's played with style and grit to take a well deserved 3 points against a dogged 3D side. From the off Celtic were dominant with swift passing moves from Tom Bradbury and Ben Caton with Will Cave volleying over the bar from close range. Soon the enivitable followed with Celtic taking the lead from a Kieron McColgan strike, his 4th in 4 games. Followed closely by a tremendous long range finish from Tom Bradbury. 2-0 at half time was hardly justice for the intense pressue Celtic had put 3D under. The second half carried on much as the first had finished, the blues firing in shot after shot , eventually culminating with a close range finish from Callum Dearden. But the immense effort from Celtic and lack of subsitutes on the took it's toll in the last 5 mins, with tiring Celtic letting in 2 soft goals, dissapointing as the shot ratio was about 20 to 1 on the day. Still 3 points gained and position further up the table. Great performances from Tom Bradbury, ... Read the rest of this article...

Sunday 11th October, Venue Soccer School. The Bridge rued their luck as Beechfield ran out 3-2 winners on a cold blustery Sunday afternoon. Once again Celtic, despite relentless  1st half pressure could not capitalise on thier dominance. Instead a soft free kick awarded to Beechfield was converted to award them a 1 - 0 lead at the break. The restart saw Celtic once again pile on the pressure only to be caught out at the back to make it 2 - 0 to Beechfield. At this point the Blues lost some shape and gave too much room to the away side, who were unlucky not to make it 3 - 0 after hitting the bar. PC and PD pushed Ben Caton up front to make use of his phenominal pace and were rewarded in minutes with a superb through ball from Casey Reid control and lay off from Chris Muir and finish from Ben Caton. But this game was far from finished, a long kick from the big Beechfield keeper was misjudged by Celtic keeper Cameron Derry and walked in by the Beechfield centre forwar...
