U12's Win 5-2

The U12's won Delamere 5.2 to go second in the league.



Delamere were very organised & out battled us at times. We got a good result but it was not our best display of the season, we tried to do too much in midfield and didn't let the ball go quickly enough.



George, Sean, Callum G & Morgan never put a foot wrong in defence and were the best players today. Ethan didn't have a lot to do but was quick off his line when called upon. Alex tried to hold the midfield together, beyond that it just didn't quite flow despite plenty of effort. We need to give some credit to Delamere who closed us down quickly. Their defence made loads of last minute challenges & their keeper was really brave & must of saved a dozen 1 on 1's.



Morgan finished the game with the goal of the season so far. He took on four players before smashing an unstoppable shot from 25 yards, supurb & man of the match again.



Well done for the effort lads, a good result but we need to step up a level against Gamesley next week.
