Wow, what a game!  The White Warriors strike again (7 times).  What a fantastic show of great passing, great free kicks, great defending and just great football.

The new rotation system worked a treat with first out, Lewis and Matty at the rear, Fin and Adam mid and Reece and Wes up front.

The early action was all our way but the net was proving difficult to find as both Reece (who tried really hard to score but was just unlucky), Adam, Wes and Fin all attempted stunning shots but to our frustration the goals were shy !!!!

A good early save by Lewis prevented us going 1-0 down and, after some shoe lace excitement (Fin), a determined tackle on the goalie by Reece, a succession of corners and some heavy duty tackles by Matty our first goal came from our second or maybe third free kick through the Santos wall neatly and with great ease into the net by Fin.  1-0 Great free kick, it even got a wooooh from the parental crowd! Whistle blew.

Half Time.

The second half saw Sam in mid with Fin, Luke and Adam up front, no change at the rear and some super goals that any Premiership team would be proud of.  So, here we go, our second goal came from a goal kick to Fin who pounded it into the bar and straight to Adam who kept calm and focused and perfectly placed the ball straight in the net 2-0.  Massive cheers for Adam who scored his first match goal in complete style, well done Ads and it didn’t end there Adam was aiming for a hat trick as he scored again from a throw in into the area where he neatly placed the ball in the corner of the net 3-0.

The next 4 goals came from Luke with such confidence and calmness that if we played a full 90 he could have scored 40. 

The first came from a corner taken by Fin to Adam to Luke who neatly put it away! 4-0.  The next goal started with Sam and Luke and some stunning passing from Sam through a packed area finally to Luke, in the bag 5-0. Follow that if you can and Luke did with a solo run from midfield, no stopping and in it goes Hat trick Luke!!!! 6-0.

And finally !! Luke from a sitting position dribbled the ball in 7-0.

So what to say now except that was worth freezing to death for and I hope that the parents of the major goal scorers put their hands in their pockets big time.  What a fantastic game, all the boys played superbly with calmness, confidence, stamina and great team spirit.
