Today we completed the league double over Hollinwood. After a three week break we surprisingly started the game well having most of the play and several chances going up the slope with the wind behind us, however, we did not convert and went in at half time 0-0. Second half, Hollinwood took the lead with a well taken free kick 0-1. This to some extent made us work a little harder and we eventually levelled with a well taken free kick from Danny 1-1, who later got his second and what turned out to be the winner after winning the ball in midfield beating a couple of players and striking the ball into the net from outside the eighteen yard box 2-1. A good performance today given the enforced lay off and a few players trying out different positions. Good luck to Charlie (GK) who is going to Everton on Thursday for a trial.
Scorer: Danny 2
