Stalybridge Celtic Whites 1-2 West End Wolves By Phil Read The Whites were soon into their stride against the Wolves and dominated possession from the start. Early in to the game they created the first opportunity with Rhys crossing to Nic who squared to Callum whose shot narrowly missed the target. Despite the possession and attractive play the Whites struggled to create many clear opportunities and Josh found himself the busier of the keepers making a couple of fine saves. Midway through the first half unfortunately found themselves 1:0 down and whilst their heads did not drop this remained the score at half time. In the second half the White's continued to dominate the possession and part way through the half secured a deserved equaliser through Shay. The Whites had full control of the second half but against the run of play the Wolves managed to test Josh with a shot from the left which was saved but the Wolves responded first to the rebound to score the decisive goal.
