The U12's lost 2-0 the 3 D Dynamos in a game they could have won in the first half.
With both teams having excellent keepers it was going to take a mistake to score, and so it proved.
Celtic started strong and created some good early chances, we worked very well down the left wing with James creating some nice link up play with Kyle & Jamie with Ethan having his best game of the season overlapping from full back. Alex & Stucky on the other wing were also working well & we put in some excellent crosses but for once our strikers were not taking advantage. We were all charging too far forward & 3 Ds best 2 players were their centre halfs who headed everything away and when it did drop in the penalty area we just never attacked the ball and let the chances go begging.
We were well on top but the missed chances cost us as they broke down our right side & put in 2 crosses that went past everybody to an overlapping player on the back post, 2 chances, 2 goals. Fletch tried to rally the troops and pipped Ethan & Garrett to the mom but a couple of our players had a reality check which I'm sure will do them no harm.
A few lessons learnt today, firstly don't turn up messing about, 3 or 4 of you know who I'm talking about, secondly attack the balls in both boxes & make sure the wide midfielders track back.
A dissapointing result but well don the 3Ds top as it takes them to the top of the league.
