"You Choose" application successful!

Following a call from our own Stuart Davenport, we submitted an application for grant monies from Tameside under the "You Choose" scheme. This is a programme whereby all local groups can apply for a grant upto a maximum of £4000. 18 local voluntary groups were invited to the Civic Hall on Saturday 15th and presented their cases in three minute speeches. All the groups then voted on each others propoosals and we were one of the groups who were successful, being awarded a grant for £3200, which we had applied for. The monies are earmaked for the refurbishing of the toilet facilities at the soccer centre and the work will hopefully be carried out over the December/January period whilst the Centre is closed.
