U11's beat Denton Youth 4-1

The U11's returned to form by beating Denton Youth 4-1 in a one sided game.

After last weeks poor display when the lads let themselves down for the first time this year they trained hard & played some great football to comfortably beat Denton Youth.

Denton are a very strong team that have a chance of winning the league this year, so the result was a little unexpected.

Right from the start the bridge lads were on their game, every play trying to get involved & playing his part. The lads were told they are playing for a cup final place & they responded.

We played some great give & go, moving, setting & supporting.

Both keepers Gary & Aidan played very well, nice & carm, better concentration than of late. Garrett, Fletch Josh & Ethan look solid in defence & Sean & George have got to work hard now to regain their places having been first choices for most of the season. Midfield, great to have Joe Turley back on form, Lewis PH, absolute class who shared man of the match with Alex Fitton who continues to show he is one of the cleverest players in the league. Jamie, quiter than usual but bagged a great goal along with Kyle & Morgan who were both back to form after poor performances last week. Sean, George, Callum & Josh also rose to the challenge when they came on, well done.
