Celtic under 10's collected four points on Saturday morning as both the 'A' and 'B' teams defeated 3D Dynamos.
The 'B' team produced another excellent performance with everyone showing both skill and energy. Kai, back from injury, put Bridge in front with a tap in following Keenan's corner and it should have been 2-0 soon after when the referee failed to spot the ball had rolled over the line from Bomber's shot. More chances followed either side of the break, but despite being completely dominant Celtic failed to extend the lead. That proved costly as 3D got back on level terms, although again it was controversial as Nathan was pushed in the back as he was about to clear and the ball ricoched past Luke in goal.
However, Bridge again took control and thoroughly deserved to get back in front when Keenan's fine strike was parried and Bomber was on hand to poke the ball home. The fact that 3D's keeper won their man of the match award proved how on top the lads were and on another day it could have been 7 or 8. Bomber claimed our man of the match award with a non-stop display, although Nathan pushed him very close with another top notch performance.
FINAL SCORE: CELTIC 2 3D DYNAMOS 1
The ' A' team shot in to an early lead when Max popped up with a typical finish to claim his 30th goal of the season. Number 31 followed soon after. Henry's pacy run down the right left two defenders in his wake, before he found Max in the middle who doesn't miss from that range. At 2-0 the boys were cruising and like the 'B' team had chances to extend that lead.
However, after the break the game changed. 3D scored twice in five minutes to level the game, although both goals could have been avoided. To be fair, either side then had chances to win it, but with 30 seconds to go, Elliot found Brad who beat two players and picked out Tom. He coolly took a touch and then passed the ball into the net to claim the winner, his fourth goal in five games, and the man of the match award to boot! Overall, it was a deserved victory, but it just shows that the lads must concentrate for the full 40 minutes.
FINAL SCORE: CELTIC 3 3D DYNAMOS 2
