A magificent game to watch for any neutral saw the Celts test the opposition keeper twice in the first 30 seconds. For the first 5 minutes the boys created at least 10 chances which were either expertly saved or wide of the mark. Declan scored the first halfway through the first half after another great Celtic move. Although the boys completely dominated it stayed 1-0 till half time.
Second half saw the boys score within seconds of the kick off, a sweet cross from Niall saw Daniel pounce to double the lead. The boys then moved out of first gear to second where they stayed for the majority of the game. Today saw some fantastic passing and moving which was superb to watch., just like watching Brazil! A further goal from Daniel eased any pressure while Jack in goal could of nipped out for a haircut if he wanted to as today he was mostly a spectator as the ball rarely went into the white's half, and when it did is was usually a backpass to Joe to restart the attack. A goal for Oscar and Robson wrapped up the game. Although we had numerous chances today, it was the football being played that delighted the crowd. Some absolute superb moves were gaining applause from the parents of both teams, with some of the oppositions parents praising the great football they witnessed today..Well Done Boys!! M.O.M Oscar, simply bossed the game and created numerous chances, superb throughout!
