BOUNDARY PARK B 1 - 3 STALYBRIDGE CELTIC B by Joanne Wood. The glorious sunshine had a positive impact on the team as they sealed a good win over Boundary Park B for the second time this season. The first half was an even game and the opposition had a couple of shots on goal which Reece managed to save. The game got more exciting as Stalybridge had lots of scoring opportunities when virtually every player managed to take a shot on goal but not actually managing to get the ball into the back of the net. Good passing skills paid off when Rhys found the back of the net and Stalybridge took the lead. This was short lived as Boundary Park equalised. However, Stalybridge were undeterred and their determination paid off as they dominated the second half with George and Will keeping the ball in the opposition's half and Megan and Connor assisting Rhys who went on to score a hatrick. This was a great game and a good win for the team and the result is testament to all their hard work and team spirit, and skills being learnt at training. Let's hope this gives them a confidence boost to seal a few more victories before the end of the season. MOTM George.
